Smiling today…
….upon receiving some lovely feedback from last weekends retreat;
Francis ” I spent a fab yoga weekend recently with Dani in Wicklow. The retreat included a variety of yoga classes and mindfulness sessions together with mindful eating and walking also. Dani put so much thought and effort into the retreat it was perfect from beginning to end.”
Lorna “I attended the weekend retreat with Dani in Avondale Retreat Centre. It was so well organised and the teaching was fabulous. I really both enjoyed and benefitted from it. I’ll be back.”
Still glowing from the oppertunity to step back and reconnect.
Todays smile brought to me by…
Avodale retreat Center. Sun shining and birds singing as I arrived. What a beautiful venue, organic veg and wooden logs left out for us by our lovely host Helen & David…smiling from my toes… Have a lovely weekend everyone..
Fun memories brought today’s smile…
As I was getting organised earlier for tomorrow’s retreat…so excited…. I came across this blanket. I worked in this restaurant in NYC as Manager back in 2000… this job was stressful but we had so much fun. It was from here I was to start my journey with yoga & Reiki….defiantly brought a smile to my face!!
Dont forget to post your happy moment in comments!!

Today’s little thing that made me smile…
where I am living and the beautiful day. I felt so at ease with the sun, the sea, the peace. How grateful I am to be able to walk Tempo bright and early this morning. What a start to the day…
So what brought a smile to your face today?!
The little daily things that make me smile

Today I am grateful for……….. firstly a confession, I do as a yoga teacher drink coffee. Not more than one or two a day but I really enjoy a good cup of coffee. Although I’ve just been on a ten day liver detox and so have excluded it from my diet, today I made a conscious decision to have a cup while catching up with a gorgeous girl who I’m lucky to call my friend. A good catch up with a girlfriend and a nice coffee has made me smile.
Retreat is…
……simply a removal of distractions to allow yourself to be totally present with yourself. Taking time out, resets our buttons, allows our nervous system to come back into balance.

It feeds our soul and quenches our thirst for equanimity and calm.
Retreating gets rid of the distraction that prevent us from getting to know and love ourselves. It opens us up to an entire world of loving ourself that we have pushed away due to time, money, busyness..
Retreat is the one true gift you can give your soul.
