How to bring Yoga into our everyday lives.

After a fun filled weekend with Meghan Currie, I walked out having had another of those eureka moments. I’ve spend years contemplating how I can really connect my yoga to my life.

As I moved through difficult postures. Struggling to maintain even breath, resisting the desire to get out of the pose, diving into the feeling that surfaced rather that running from them I realised that was just it.  Life moves around us, changes from great experiences to painful ones, always expanding & contracting. I need to resist the desire to get away from the pain or stay with the wonderful times, I need to accept my feelings each rather than push them down. I need to stay connected with my centre, my spirit, my true nature as life dishes out all its different flavours. Remaining grounded & connected as it teaches us with each moment. I will learn to learn from both the great & awful experiences.
